JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Library Foundation is hosting their 13th annual Books of Madison County event on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Jackson Fairgrounds. The Jackson Fairgrounds are located at 800 S. Highland Avenue in Jackson.

This year’s speaker is Bruce Goddard. He is a columnist, novelist, podcast host, motivational speaker, and retired funeral director. Since 1977, he has been happily married to his beloved wife, Kathy. He is a father to three and a grandfather to nine. Don’t miss the chance to hear Bruce’s engaging tales at the upcoming event.

Single tickets begin at $85.00 and include a gourmet dinner, wine pairing, seats for Bruce’s performance, and access to a bountiful silent auction. Ascending sponsorship tiers are also available to provide maximum support for the library and personal enjoyment of the event. Tickets can be purchased by calling the library at 731-425-8600 or by visiting this link.

The Books of Madison County is hosted by the Jackson-Madison County Library Foundation. The Foundation serves the library by raising funds to meet its annual and long-term goals that are not met by annual budget appropriations. So, when you purchase a ticket or sponsor a table for the dinner, you directly contribute to the library’s ability to provide needed services to our community – and you get to have a good time while you’re at it!

The Jackson-Madison County Library is located at 433 E. Lafayette St. in downtown. For more information, contact the Library at 731-425-8600, visit the Library’s Facebook page at Facebook.com/JMCLibrary or its website at www.jmclibrary.org.
