Madison County, TN – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has made arrests in connection to a recent homicide investigation in the 200 block of Cotton Grove Road.
A 17-year-old male juvenile, was charged with First Degree Murder/perpetration of theft of property and Theft of a Firearm.
This suspect is currently being held at the Madison County Juvenile Detention Facility. Also, 18-year-old, Kemauri Deshun Gill, was arrested and charged with Tampering with Evidence and booked at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex.
The investigation revealed that both suspects were passengers in the vehicle at the time of the incident and the juvenile suspect was known to the victim. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community for its diligent efforts in assisting the Criminal Investigation Division with crucial information, which led to the identity of the suspects involved in this case. Sheriff Wiser would also like to thank the Criminal Investigation and Patrol divisions; along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) for their countless hours and commitment to Madison County in bringing these criminals to justice.
