Ceremonies will be livestreamed via YouTube and district website

JACKSON, Tenn. – Anticipation runs high for every senior as graduation dates draw closer for the seven high schools across the district. Students from JCM Early College High, Jackson Academic STEAM Academy, Liberty Technology High School, North Side High School, South Side High School, Jackson Central-Merry, and Madison Academic will take the stage at Oman Arena the week of Monday, May 15th.

“This senior class has increased our district’s profile in all areas. From national scholarship award winners in academics to state champions in athletics, this cohort has done the work and deserves to be celebrated,” said Deputy Superintendent Dr. Vivian Williams.

Commencement exercises for each high school will take place nightly at Oman Arena. For those who are unable to attend in person, the ceremonies will be livestreamed on the district’s website at www.jmcss.org.

Seniors who scored 30 or higher on the ACT will wear a purple cord to signify their membership in the Superintendent’s ACT 30+ Club. Families should contact schools directly for Awards Day information.

“Graduation week provides a great snapshot of the diverse, tuition-free learning options our schools provide families in Jackson-Madison County. We’re extremely proud of this class,” Superintendent Dr. Marlon King said.
