Today, Alyssa Clifft made it official, committing to continue both her athletic and academic careers at Itawamba Community College. Surrounded by friends, family, and teammates, a signing ceremony was held in the South Side library. Clifft, who pitches and plays outfield for the Lady Hawks, spoke at the ceremony, thanking those present for their support. Her coach, Mason Taylor, also praised her hard work over the past four years, noting how it reflects positively on the program and the school.
Clifft is the third of South Side‘s softball seniors to sign to play at the next level. The Lady Hawks start the 2023 season on March 13th at Bolivar.
