JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Library has several ongoing programs for teens and tweens this month.

Teen Advisory Board Every 1st Wednesday at 3:30. August 7. Join us to give your input on future events, contribute to collection development, and earn service hours! Snacks will be provided! Ages 13 to 18.

Open Space Hours Tuesdays, 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. August 6, 13, 20, 27. Saturdays, 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. Come use our supplies to work on your passions or try something new!

Coding Club 2nd & 4th Thursdays at 3:30 pm. August 8 & 22. Come hang out with fellow programmers and practice your coding! Ages 9+

Homeschoolers @ the Library Alternating Tuesdays 1:00-2:30 pm. August 13 & 27. Just a chance to hang out with other homeschoolers. Parents can exchange ideas and kids can play with board games, Legos, and crafts.

*We’ll make plans for Family Book Club & more programming to begin in September.

Brown Bag Book Club Every Wednesday 12:00 pm. August 7, 14, 21 & 28. Teens and Tweens book club. Bring a lunch and chat about books, play games, and hang out with other kids who do school at home! Ages 11 to 18.

Game Nights are every first and third Thursday at 5:00 pm on August 1 & 15. Join us for board games of all kinds! Much more than your standard board games– we have new and popular games galore!

Teen Arts and Crafts August 10 at 2:00 pm. Come use our collection of arts and craft supplies to get creative.

Anime Club Every 3rd Wednesday at 4:00 pm. August 21. Come watch anime (rated PG or TV14), talk about manga, play games, craft, and have fun! Ages 13 to 18.
