Madison County Mayoral Candidate John Newman Announces Finance Team

                                                 Newman Has Raised Over $100,000

(Jackson, TN) – John Newman, candidate for Madison County Mayor, today announced his campaign finance team and current fundraising numbers for his upcoming May 3rd, Republican Party Primary.

Lee Eddleman will serve as Newman’s campaign Treasurer and Chris Allison will serve as Finance Chairman. Eddleman and Allison are local business owners. 

It is an honor for me to help such an outstanding man like John Newman,” Eddleman said. “There is no one more qualified to serve as Madison County than John. He understands how government runs efficiently and effectively and that’s exactly what we need in a mayor.

Newman’s Finance Chairman Chris Allison also praised Newman for always putting Madison County first and looking out for those in need. “John is just a great neighbor, he cares about folks, he’s trustworthy, and John has played a significant role in the development and growth of Madison County.’ Allison said.

Newman also announced his fundraising numbers so far raising over $100,000 with almost $97,000 in the bank. “I am humbled and honored by the outpouring of financial support folks have given me,” Newman said. “I intend to always look out for the best interests of Madison County. You have my word.”

Newman currently serves as Madison County Trustee a post he has held for the past 12 years. John also has held other leadership roles including West Tennessee Field Representative for Senator Fred Thompson, Chief of Staff for the Tennessee Republican Party, and served 20 years on the Madison County Commission.

John and his wife Kandy have five children, seven grandchildren, and are members of Skyland Baptist Church in Jackson.
