Authorities in Milan discovered the bodies of two individuals on Thursday morning, who are believed to have died in a murder-suicide. The incident took place at a home on Forest Street, owned by Steve and Susan Short, at around 8:30 a.m. after a family member contacted the police to request a welfare check.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the front door open and the deceased individuals in an upstairs bedroom. The bodies have been transported for autopsies to confirm the cause of death, although police believe the incident was a murder-suicide. Chief Bobby Sellers stated that “the department is conducting a thorough investigation to confirm the circumstances of the deaths”.
